BE A FRIEND OF THE FOREST

Hui o Laka is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects people with the spirit of Kōke‘e by operating the Kōke‘e Natural History Museum as a visitor center for Waimea Canyon & Kōke‘e State Parks, and the historic Kōke‘e Civilian Conservation Corps Camp for volunteers and as a retreat for Hui o Laka members. Hui o Laka is supported by earned income at the Museum Shop and CCC Camp; contributions through membership and donations, and grants from private and public sources.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Cash contributions can be unrestricted or restricted to an existing program or project such as exhibits, festivals, or the CCC Camp. We’re thrilled when donations honor someone – for a birthday or special milestone – and are truly touched when gifts are made in a nature-lover's memory. These are acknowledged in our members newsletters.
